IOG LEGACY
IOG Legacy was created in loving memory of Isaiah O. Gordon, who tragically passed away in a car accident at the age of 19. Isaiah was witty, charismatic and full of life. His love for family, fun and adventure was unmatched. He was quick to help others and that’s what inspired this organization.
I‘ve learned that grief is love with no place to go, that’s why it never goes away. I’ve decided two things. First, I’ve decided that I’m going to use this pain to spread love to those who may feel unloved and unwanted. Second, I’ve decided to live in my son’s memory and not his loss. It’s a much happier place for me.
IOG Legacy is an organization that is focused on building our community through helping homeless students, families in need and mental illness.

IOG LEGACY MISSION STATEMENT
IOG Legacy is a nonprofit organization founded in loving memory of my firstborn son, Isaiah O. Gordon, who tragically passed away in a car accident in April 2023. While this tremendous loss has devastated my family and me, I’ve come to realize that grief is love searching for a place to go. In Isaiah’s honor, I’ve chosen to pour that love into helping those who feel unloved and unwanted.
Our vision is to address pressing community issues such as youth homelessness, substance abuse, domestic violence, mental health challenges, and families in need. We aim to create a welcoming facility where individuals can access meals, showers, clean clothes, laundry services, and essential supplies like toiletries and food. This space would also provide temporary housing and resources to help people transition to a better, more stable life.
Additionally, we hope to secure a vehicle to deliver supplies and transport individuals to our facility, ensuring we can reach those in need wherever they are. To bring this vision to life, I’m asking for the support of our community, family, and friends. Whether through donations, sponsorships, or other contributions, your help is vital to building a stronger, healthier community.
Together, we can create a space of hope and healing—by our community, for our community. Let’s unite to turn this vision into reality and honor Isaiah’s legacy through love and action.
